7) Flash News - Ron
Great news from Ron on the accomplishment of a major
business milestone. Recently Ron hired his successor
and installed him as President. He came to work two weeks
ago and is working out fabulously. As many of you know,
this has been a major plan/dream of Ron's. Now it is
in place.
This gives Ron the ability to be virtually full-time
developing the new technology that he is so intrigued
with, which will change the entire industry. Congrats
to Ron.
8) Flash News – Don
Great news from Don on the accomplishment of a major
business milestone. They found out in the middle of the
night recently that they had been awarded the contract
from Singapore.
They are reviewing the legal documents now and expect
everything to be legalized within a few days. Also, the
few sample products they have let customers use, are
getting rave reviews. Now that they have been designated
the winner, more samples are en route.
As most of you know, this is a huge deal. It was initially
discussed as $100,000,000 worth of business. That has
changed somewhat, in fact Don likes it better as it now
stands, as it will be easier for them to get their arms
around and give great service. For now it will only be
about $20,000,000. Congrats to Don.
P.S. In addition, Don has hired a new assistant and
is very pleased with the way she is working for him and
into the Company.
9) Flash News – Greg
Great news from Greg! It is closed! Greg has been working
on finding a bank where he could get some more capital
to support their growth. He's found a great new bank
and banker. The availability of cash went up almost three
times and the interest rate dropped dramatically, in
fact, all the way to "prime". They've been
talking about it and working out the details, but it
is now done and closed. Congrats to Greg and Company
on completing another major business milestone.
10) Flash News – Roy
Great news from Roy and his family. Just got this information
and don't know much, but thought you would be interested
to know: His son, Jim, who is a swimmer, just won in
a national swim meet. The one event he participated in
was the breastroke. He won the National Championship!
Congrats to both Roy and his son.
11) Flash News – Allen
Great news from Allen! We did a Mini MasterMind
for Allen at the last meeting on a very sticky business/ownership/officer/shareholder/
reputation issue that was or could have a major impact
on his Company.
The Council's ideas along with other things Allen was
doing, as of just a few hours ago, have worked out fabulously.
It's all over! The Chairman/President has resigned. He
did it with grace and dignity and won a lot of points.
He's still on the board, still has the passion and will
still be his spokesperson.
In summary, Allen says, "We're signed, sealed and
the board meeting is over. I am delighted." Again,
congratulations to Allen (and also to the power of the
MasterMind principle) for helping to get this resolved
and the operations back on track.
12) Flash News – Mike
First grandchild. It’s a girl! And a Blessing!
Mike's oldest son and his wife have been trying for
some time for their first baby without success. They
made the decision to try in-vitro, and somewhat A-typically
it worked for them the first time. Mike got a call last
Saturday night, as his son and wife headed for the hospital.
He hopped on a plane and was fortunate enough to be there
with them when the little girl arrived at 1:30a.m. Sunday
morning. Born two weeks early, very healthy, she weighed
in at 6.5 lbs and 19." Everyone is doing well. Congratulations
to Mike and his family on the new addition!
